Filipe Luis free to join Chelsea in €19m deal this summer

Luis has proven his worth this season in Atletico's title-winning campaignChelsea's pursuit of Atletico Madrid full-back Filipe Luis has received a significant boost after Los Rojiblancos boss Diego Simeone had an offer €10m accepted by Granada for his potential replacement Guilherme Siqueira, according to Marca.
Simeone is being forced to plan for a future which will likely not feature the spine of his La Liga winning side, with Luis just one of the star performers targeted by Europe's richest clubs as they look to achieve the kind of success Atletico have enjoyed on a relatively small budget this season.
Blues supremo Jose Mourinho wants both Diego Costa and Luis to swap the Vicente Calderon for Stamford Bridge and the second target on that list is now a step closer to joining his current team-mate in the Premier League, according to the Daily Express.
Luis has a buyout clause in his current contract of €19m and Atletico are more than prepared for his departure after agreeing a fee for Siqueira, who impressed admirers across the continent on loan at Benfica last season.
Siqueira is still owned by La Liga minnows Granada, who are willing to do business this summer and have reluctantly accepted Atletico's offer.
Real Madrid, Benfica and Liverpool are all still thought to be interested in the 28-year-old, but Atletico are now in the driving seat to conclude a deal which could mean Chelsea have both Costa and Luis on their books by the end of the month.
